If you have an interest in archaeology/history, especially of the Meon Valley, we can provide the resources to extend your knowledge base and develop your research skills to find more of our hidden past.
Highlights of our past work in the Meon Valley have included the discovery of a Roman temple and bath-house complex, Iron Age banjo enclosures, a Bronze Age ring ditch and locating the original Saxon Church site in West Meon Church graveyard (confirming Saxon settlement), amongst many others.
By becoming a member of the group, you can be part of making more discoveries of our settlement history in the Meon Valley.
Benefits include:
- Participating in our geophysical surveys
- Participating in our excavations
- Participate in field walking to identify surface finds
- Access to detailed reports
- Regular newsletters by email

We are always grateful for any additional donations to support future projects and targeted research such as radio-carbon dating and DNA analysis on organic material
